Speeds Inquiry

This article addresses common questions about internet speeds and data usage.

We cannot provide guaranteed speed quotes, as actual speeds can vary significantly depending on several factors, including your device's 4G/5G capability and your location. However, under good conditions, we typically see average speeds of around 30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload on 4G networks, and around 100 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload on 5G networks.

Data Usage and Streaming Quality:

Your data consumption is directly related to the streaming quality you choose. If you are on a data plan with an allotment, streaming in 480p (Standard Definition, DVD Quality) is recommended for data conservation. This quality uses approximately 1GB per hour.

Higher streaming qualities consume significantly more data:

  • 720p (HD - Not full HD): Approximately 1.5GB per hour
  • 1080p (Full HD): Approximately 3GB per hour
  • 4K: Not recommended for plans with data allotments. Consumption can be 7+ GB per hour.

You can easily adjust your streaming quality within your preferred streaming platform's settings.
